TaxiBlu: The Largest Radiotaxi Service in Milan
TaxiBlu is the largest radiotaxi service in Milan. The collaboration with Gulliver, which began in 2013, resulted in a B2C app that allows customers to call a taxi with just a few clicks, eliminating long phone waits and facilitating the identification of the pick-up point via GPS. In addition to developing the app, which is available for free on app stores, we also developed a web portal, primarily used by hospitality structures to manage taxi bookings.
Features of the TaxiBlu App
The main features of the app are:
- Real-time booking: Call a taxi immediately or schedule a ride for a specific date and time.
- Special vehicles: Request vehicles suitable for transporting disabled people or small animals.
- Digitax system: The solution is connected to the Digitax system for transparent and accurate pricing.
App Updates and Redesign
Given the success of the first version and the customers’ preference for the app over traditional booking methods, we were contacted again by the TaxiBlu team to update and further improve the project. The current interface is more user-friendly, with improved flows and new features such as:
- Explanatory messages: Guides to understand the more complex functions of the app.
- Notification system: Alerts about the taxi’s approach and its location.
A Successful B2C Project
This project was one of our first for the B2C market and demonstrates the effectiveness of our customer-oriented approach and ability to foster long-term collaborations. We are proud to have partnered with TaxiBlu and contributed to revolutionizing the radiotaxi service in Milan.
